Next, there was a Grand Parade through the streets of Pasil and Suba with the statue of Don Bosco. All the sections carried their own banner and there was a Sinulog band. Once back in the center there was a grand opening; the national anthem was said, the Intramural torch was lit, there were opening and inspirational talks and the oath of sportsmanship.

In the afternoon the Intramurals began. There was another baskteball game with selected trainees playing DBYC members. Again DBYC won! During this time the trainees were playing smaller games of basketball, badminton, volleyball, chess and playing the guitar.
Next, there were parlour games or children party games. For example, all trainees in their section had to hold someone elses hand and then untie themselves so they could stand in a circle. All trainees had to put their shoes in the middle of the gym. The shoes were then mixed together and trainees had to find their own shoes.
Finally, there was a good afternoon talk before the kissing of the relic of Don Bosco.
